How do I submit an abstract or paper?

You can submit through the Call for Papers section. Submissions require a 250–300 word abstract that outlines:
• Your research question
• Methodology
• Key findings or expected contributions
• Policy relevance

What are the major research tracks?

The conference features four thematic tracks:
1. Democratic Participation & Representation
2. Civic Tech, Media & the Digital Public Sphere
3. Comparative & Global Perspectives
4. Institutions, Education & State Capacity

 Is there a registration fee?

Yes. Registration details, including any fees or waivers, will be listed on the Registration page.

Can I attend without presenting?

Yes. Attendees are welcome to join all sessions, keynotes, and public events even if they are not presenting a paper.

Are virtual or hybrid options available?

What does the program include?

Yes. Certificates of presentation or participation will be issued to all registered contributors.

Are travel grants or scholarships available?

No. We advise speaking with your host institution.

What are the accommodation options?

Information on recommended hotels, local transport, and campus facilities will be posted closer to the conference date.

What is the expected format for paper presentations?

Standard presentation slots run 15-20 minutes followed by Q&A. You may use slides, posters, or alternative formats as long as they align with your panel’s requirements.

Can NGOs or government institutions host sessions?

Yes. Organizations may propose workshops, roundtables, or side events through the Special Sessions Proposal option, if available.

Will the conference proceedings be published?

Select papers may be considered for publication in a conference report or an edited volume. Details will be announced post-review.
